Poultry Protein is a campaign to educate people about "Eat Right, Eat Healthy" through a balanced diet which includes the intake of high proteins.
This initiative is led by Poultry India an advisory body mandated to work towards the eradication of protein deficiency. Poultry India is an organisation which includes Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers' Association (IPEMA), National Egg Coordination Committee (NECC); CLFMA of India; Poultry Federation of India (PFI); All India Poultry Breeders Association (AIPBA); Andhra Pradesh Poultry Farmers Association (APPFA); Poultry Breeders Association (PBA-AP); West Bengal Poultry Farmers Association (WBPFA); Tamil Nadu Broiler Co-ordination Committee (TMBCC); Broiler Breeders Association - North (BBAN); Karnataka Poultry Farmers & Breeders Association (KPFBA); Indian Federation of Animal Health Companies (INFAH), Indian Poultry Journalist Association (IPJA) and All Odisha Poultry Association (AOPA).
The collective wisdom of Poultry India officials felt the need to spread this knowledge following empirical evidence of the prevalence of high protein deficiency and malnutrition in India. More than 40% of under-five children population suffer from the condition. With this thought process, the idea to educate the average person was established. With the help of this portal, we will be demonstrating why it is important to have one gram of protein for every kilo grame of your body weight every day, as also the importance of poultry intake in their daily diet, which can be far more economical and beneficial when compared to other forms of protein.

Besides this - as most of us know, Poultry India also organises a successful annual exhibition where global experts on nutrition, breeding, poultry equipment and animal health provide insights into latest trends and best practices in poultry farming and breeding. The next Poultry India 2015 Exhibition is being held at Hitex City, Hyderabad on November 25-27, 2015.
Knowledge Day a technical seminar, is also organised in conjunction with the Poultry India exhibition This one-day interactive technical seminar offers a series of lecturers and discussions presented by prominent leaders in the poultry and animal husbandry industries, and sheds light on current challenges and problems.
